Regretfully like most things, although we believe the spreadsheet to be
accurate you must accept any liability resulting from its use.
No derating factor has been included in the calculations. It is a
good idea to down rate the results by 30% for large tracks rising to 50%
or more for small tracks.
We have performed rough checks on the heating effect at currents up
to 100amps. It is not easy to measure temperature rise, but the results
were close to our expectations from the spreadsheet calculations.
