If you fancy drawing the traditional way Chartpak-tape still have a range of suitable tape on offer. 

Glass Plate camera, we believe was originally used by the UK Police for enlarging finger prints.

It was originally supplied by Hubex Ltd of Cricklewood London. Please let us know if you're able to add any extra information about the Glass Plate Camera.

With so many CAD packages to choose, we would like to recommend our current favourites, Easy PC, Eagle, Sprint and DesignSpark .

It's also well worth a look at the upcoming open source alternatives. They are well written up to date, fully functional pieces of software written by enthusiasts who thrive on feedback. To date we recommended  SourceForge.net: PCB Layout Tool, boldport / PCBmodE   and FreePCB: freeware PCB layout software

Any Boardmaker 2 users please note this old DOS package is not compatible with windows XP. If using XP the only workarounds are either to update onto the newer leased Boardmaker 3, or import the PCB layout files directly into Number Ones Systems  Easy PC. We expect to be following the second option unless a sufficient number of you update onto Boardmaker 3 in which case it's lease may become a viable expense.
