| If unspecified the default laminate used for
circuit boards is the epoxy glass FR4 grade. Although mass produced
electronic items such as televisions, Hi Fi units, etc are regularly
made using the cheaper phenolic paper FR1 and FR2 grades. For mass
production the paper laminates allow a huge saving as all holes, slots,
and even the profile can be punched.

different types, thicknessess, and copper weights in stock. Even if your
